Tampa hotels

My father and I will be getting on the Legend on 3/1 and were considering staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Ybor City. I was drawn to it because it is close to the Columbia restaurant and I have been wanting to eat there for years. Anyone with any experience withthis hotel?

there is no CY in Ybor city..the CY downtown is NEAR it, but NOT that near..and I probably would not stay at the DT CY as it isn't near anything except the Perf Arts center...(i wasn't thrilled with the area when i was there..)

 

I would stay at the Marriott Waterside....

they are due to finish redoing the rooms in a week or 2 (and they were not bad when i was there summer of 2007!)...you can get the trolley outside the hotel and get to Ybor City if i remember correctly

oopps! I mispoke. We are looking at the Garden Inn by Hilton. any thoughts?
