teresapink Posted December 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2008 We just booked a GS on the Serenade and the only one available was 1554 on the forward end of the hump. If another becomes available should I switch? The shape looks irregular in the deck plan. Is this cabin and/or balcony smaller than a regular GS? Is PRIVACY an issue? Aggrrh! Help please! cb at sea Posted December 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2008 That's a great location. You'll have PLENTY of balcony space. Privacy is not an issue---it's as private as any other balcony (which isn't "private" at all--folks can "peek" around the side, if they want to--and that's true of ANY balcony) The cabin is the same size as any other GS. I would hold onto that one for dear life!
COUNTRYCOWGIRL Posted December 12, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 12, 2008 Our friends were in that cabin during Thanksgiving cruise to southern carribean. It was a wonderful cabin. Very large sliding doors to balcony, Wonderful view and large balcony also. Enjoy your cruise. They plan on another cruise next year and will book the same cabin.:)

Pomperaugrr Posted December 12, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 12, 2008 You will love that Suite. It is convenient to everything. When you are sitting or relaxing on the balcony, you will have as much privacy (or as little) as any other balcony. No worries. The suite is the same size as the other Grand Suites. The only GS that is a bit smaller is 1600, as it is an aft corner suite. Eric
