Ron zapaca Rum

Will be in Santo Tomas January. Does anyone know where to buy Zapaca rum? Will be visiting Livingston using Happy Fish. `Thanks for any help.

Yes you should be able to get it in either Livingston on the port town. Also check the duty free shops in Belize and Cozumel, we've had better luck finding it there than on the ship (once in awhile on the ship) and never the 23 year old stuff...

Okay, I've been on the cruise and found the Ron Zacapa Rum on the NCL ship. They only have the liter size, though. On shore in Guatemala (a liquor store in Puerto Barrios) we also found it. The owner had to come down in price but still didn't match the price on the ship. We finally bought it at the Duty Free shop in Cozumel. They had the "23 stuff" at a fifth for $27 or the liter for $45. Two fifths proved to be a better deal. You can also order it online.

Ok, I'll bite...what is Ron Zacapa Rum... sounds like I may need some too!

It's a rum made in Guatemala and is aged for 23 years. It's a very smooth rum and one of the best. They also have a version that's aged a minimum opf 27 years. Great souvenir! Visit their website for more info.: http://www.ronesdeguatemala.com/

I know you can buy it at Total Beverage around Florida. I have bought it DF in several places at around $35US a ltr. for the 23 yr old.
