Another great cruise on the Mariner

We were on the Mariner Eastern Dec. 7 - Dec.14. Great cruise, wonderful staff (we had the same cabin as last year and the same steward, along with one of the same waiters in Chops). We only got off the ship on St. Martin (our St. Thomas excursion was cancelled) - took an island tour and really enjoyed it.

We didn't do any of the nighttime entertainment except the Ice Show (saw it last year - it's the same one but we really enjoy it) and the Welcome Back party.

Spent lots of time going to Trivia games (we attended at least one every day) and even won 5 times (we now have an extensive collection of RCCL hi-lighters :D) - we met a lot of people at the games and had a lot of laughs - to anyone who likes trivia - we would highly recommend attending (they usually have a morning and afternoon or evening one - it just lasts about 45 minutes).

Aside from trivia and the occasional shuffle board game (I hesitate to say we "play" since we are really, really bad :o), we don't really "do" much - we relax then relax some more, then go eat!

We will really miss the Mariner (I know, we could cruise out of CA, but we like to drive to the port and CA is a bit far.)
