What happened to the Carnival Celebration?

We spent our honeymoon on the Celebration in June 1995. It was the cruise immediately prior to the cruise affected by the fire. We were part of the SeaTrek group (a Star Trek convention on board that one-half of the passengers were a part of). The running joke was that one of the Star Trek fans forgot a phaser in the engine room that overloaded.

My 1st cruise in 1987 was also on the Celebration. I saw her originally docked in Nassau while I as there on a loand vacation. At that moment I decided that the next vacation will be a cruise... and have not stopped since then.

Honeymoon cruise for us two 55 year olds in 2004...Went to Calica Mx instead of Progreso, wife's first cruise, 15 later, here we are leving Sunday and booked for November..We liked the ship..

This was my first cruise too. I sailed on her about a month before she was retired. That was a great cruise!

The Celebration was our first cruise in 1989; we were supposed to do the eastern Caribbean but Hurricane Hugo came through that week and we ended up in the western Caribbean!! At the time it was the flagship so we got priority in docking and disembarkation. That was the best cruise ever. No expectations, just a great time. :):):)
