Just curious, why are you considering ship tours for the other ports. It sounds like you made the leap to go all private for the 3 ports in Italy.

 

You'll likely find ship tours more expensive and less satisfying then what you'll get with a private vendor in the other ports. I debated this too, and in the end did all private for all the ports we decided we to do tours.

 

One last comment, we did the exact tour you are discribing in Naples with Romeinlimo. Beside the bit of driving it was spectacular!!! The wife orginally had no interest in doing the long drive to Amalfi with the huge goup we had. After ward everyone agreed the views and stops were a highlight and everyone was very happy we did it, even the little ones :D
