A few NCL questions.

I have a couple of questions about NCL:

 

*Is there a hair dryer in the bathroom or stateroom?

*Do they provide shampoo/soap?

*How much does it cost to have a bag of laundry washed and dried? And how many days does it take to have it returned to your cabin? (I've heard different stories.)

 

We are sailing on the Jade, if that makes any difference at all.

I was on the NCL Jewel in October, 2008. Yes, there is a hairdryer, in the stateroom on the desk. It was more than adequate for my just-above-the-shoulder hair.

 

Yes, there is shampoo (with conditioner) and bath soap in the shower/tub area (in a dispenser on the wall) and soap at the sink (also in a dispenser.) It is supposed to be "spa quality". To me it was astringent and unpleasant smelling. Next time I'll bring my own.

 

Yes, there is laundry service. They'll annouce it, it's $20 per bag stuffed, for wash, dry, folded and/or ironed and hung, and if it's out by 10 a.m, it'll be returned by 6 p.m. the next day. We sent out two loads (on a 10 day cruise) and it came back very well done, and on time, without any problems.
