We too are arriving in Barcelona on that cruise. We are staying for 5 nights in an apartment I found through an agency online: ownersdirect.com

I found a lovely 2 bedroom, with a view of the cathedral, very clean, modern, good reviews for 85 euros/night. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip Grammy158. The VRBO site mentioned above has great properties but they are a little pricey. Hoping to find better bargains on the Ownersdirect site. :)

Barcelona is an expensive city - VRBO has several properties in the 550-650 euros range for a week which is not bad. The key here is you save a lot of money cooking most of your own meals. I went to a restaurant guide on Trip Advisor and the cheapest (one star ) restaurants were very expensive in my opinion.

George.
