george/patricia Posted January 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2009 We are on the Regatta's Miami - Barcelona cruise and would like to stay in Barcelona for a couple of weeks. Does anyone have info re weekly rentals (with a kitchen) in a good location? George/Pat
caribbeansun Posted January 9, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2009 You can try VRBO's Barcelona listings . There are a host of European based rental agencies as well if you google Barcelona and weekly rental.
Rare JoePDX Posted January 9, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2009 I second VRBO. We've had good luck with them. But as always - buyer beware. Check all the facts! Joe

grammy158 Posted January 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2009 We too are arriving in Barcelona on that cruise. We are staying for 5 nights in an apartment I found through an agency online: ownersdirect.com I found a lovely 2 bedroom, with a view of the cathedral, very clean, modern, good reviews for 85 euros/night. Good luck.

Hoping to find better bargains on the Ownersdirect site. :)
george/patricia Posted January 13, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Barcelona is an expensive city - VRBO has several properties in the 550-650 euros range for a week which is not bad. The key here is you save a lot of money cooking most of your own meals. I went to a restaurant guide on Trip Advisor and the cheapest (one star ) restaurants were very expensive in my opinion.
