Early Documents?

I received an email today from my online travel agency that my documents shipped out today. My cruise is for the Spirit, but it is not until Jan 7th. I have never received documents this early before. I have only cruised four times before, but got them 2-3 weeks before my cruise.

Does NCL usually send out documents this early?

I don't know, but I'm on the 01/01/05 Sun and received my docs yesterday 11/12/04. Never had docs so early. I'm not complaining mind you just happy and beginning to count down the days!

Just curious. Are you cruise-only or did you purchase your air through NCL?

That's what I figured. I've only done cruise only in the past, so have become accustomed to receiving docs about two weeks after final payment. This waiting due to air is very annoying.

I agree we have generally gotten our doc's shortly after final payment. In fact when we paid everything up front we got them even earlier than the final payment date.

We also received our docs two months before sailing this past August. Again, we were also cruise only. At least you get to do the doc dance a lot earlier :)
