palmgirl Posted November 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2004 Do all of the staterooms on the Vista ships have refrigerators or is it just catagory SS and above?? Not interested in the mini-bar, just the refrigerator. Thanks for any help.
flamingogal Posted November 14, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2004 Good Question! I have a VB cabin booked in January and a fridge would be great for the screw-top wine. It's best served cold, and in a plastic cup! :p

We are booked on the Westerdam in January and I really needed to know. Did you like her? I have never been on a Vista ship before and am looking forward to the experience. cktravels Posted November 15, 2004 #7 Share Posted November 15, 2004 Hi Palmgirl, I thought the Westerdam was great; I have been on 25 cruises and this was my first HAL cruise. The ship was the cleanest ship I have ever been on, with the most friendliest crew we have encountered. The drawbacks are minor, like average food (about the same as RCCL and Princess), and a odd lighting setup in the cabins. The pluses far outweigh the negatives; excellent crew, great layout of the ship with easy flow, very good floor shows (Tommy Tune is a litlle week, the other to are very good) There was very little night life mostly due to the port intensive cruise and age of passengers. The windstar coffee shop is excellent and very fairly priced plus you get a free pastry or cookie. The beds are the best we have had on any cruise ship!! you will enjoy this ship

bkreader Posted November 15, 2004 #9 Share Posted November 15, 2004 This is good to know - we have a DD on the Westerdam in Jan. Are the refrigerators any colder than the standard ones like I had on NCL(i.e. just kind of coolish)? - Jane:)
