tgr2387 Posted January 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2009 I keep flipping back and forth between: Carnival Valor(3/15/09): Belize, Grand Cayman, Roatan, Cozumel Carnival Triumph(3/15/09): San Juan, St Martin, St Thomas I'm not too worried about price, and I've been to nearly all of these places. I don't mind going on the same itinerary I just recently went on either. However, I haven't been on either of these ships. From what I've read the Valor seems to be the winner. I just can't decide between these two cruises. Which would you pick? On a side note my signature says Valor, but recently I have been contimplating the Triumph cruise. All of these ports are fabulous as you already know. If I wanted more relaxation time, sea days I'd go Triumph. For fabulous ports, relaxation I'd go with Valor. The Triumph probably rates at the bottom of our cruises (never a bad cruise though!!), and I haven't been on Valor. Valor wins:).
drumline Posted January 20, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Valor was great, going again this March. Was on the Victory, which is a sister ship to the Triumph, was nice but would definately liked the Valor better. Have fun.

The Valor...because of the itin.
VolzCruiser Posted January 20, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2009 I know this doesn't help you at all but I have to say all these ports are wonderful. To me the decision would come down to how much down time I wanted.
KroozFoolz Posted January 20, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Valor ~ because John Heald is scheduled to be the CD on that sailing.
momofzeke Posted January 20, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 20, 2009 If the number of sea days vs. port days is not important to you, then I would pick Valor. I haven't been on Triumph, but I have been on Valor and loved it. Valor is 5 years newer than Triumph if that makes any difference to you.
halos Posted January 20, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 20, 2009 The Valor...because of the itin. that would be my vote as well.
tgr2387 Posted January 20, 2009 Author #9 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Thanks everyone, I appreciate your input. I'll probably stick with my initial instinct of the Valor.
