Has anyone done the Alaska cruise on Diamond out of Vancouver?

We are going to be on the Diamond in May to Alaska are are wondering if they let you keep your cruise card when you disembark or if they keep it? After what happened on the Dawn we wont let that happen again and will be prepared to lose our card so we can keep it for our scrapbook!!! they took our card when we disembarked and there were several of us who were not very happy. someone suggested losing one of our cruise cards and we thought that was a great idea!

I was on the Diamond from Whittier to Vancouver in September. We kept our cruise card when we left the ship. Hope this helps.

I was on Sapphire, but we all kept our cards. Just lose one just in case. I don't believe it costs anything to get a replacement.

We were on a b2b Alaska cruise on the Diamond. Got to keep both cruise cards. Have been on the Diamond 5 or 6 times and got to keep all cruise cards from these cruises. I have yet had to turn one in on any ships I have been on.

We were on the Diamond in Aug 2007 and got to keep our cards. You hear of the odd case were they collect the cards but I do not think it happens a lot based on others input. As others have said, just tell them you lost it araand get a replacement just in case.

We travelled on the Diamond in November 08 and were allowed to keep our cards. My wife is a scrapbooker and there was no problem in hanging on to them.

We have always been able to keep our cards. One time the check out kiosk wasn't working and they kept our cards.

Well if you ever take the Dawn and disembark in San Francisco they will keep your cards! glad to hear we will get to keep them for our scrapbook on this cruise!
