Casino in Samana?

I was looking through these posts about Samana. Trying to decide what to do. I noticed one said something about a casino in Samana.

 

Casino? Tell me more!

We just can't find anything that interests us as far as excursions in Samana, so maybe just a walk into town and some time in the casino.

I saw a picture of a Casino place in the new "Pueblo Principe" shopping/ entertainment center build recently in Samana. Not sure what the hours are or if it is open.

 

I think I saw the picture on Google Earth.

We went into the casino after our excursion. It's VERY small and the employees are beyond rude. They only good thing they offer is a clean bathroom. I do want to say that Samana is best enjoyed through an excursion. The beautiful area is not near where you get off the tender. There is some limited shopping by the casino and the open air market had some wonderful local items. But town does not have much to offer. We did the ATV tour and the saw the true beauty Samana has to offer.
