Can I make this flight in time???

We are sailing on the Coral Princess and will be ending our cruise in Vancouver. We were going to spend the night in Vancouver, but due financial considerations, it would be better for us to fly out the same day and avoid hotel and rental car expense. There is an 11:35am flight that we can grab.

 

Do you think there will be enough time to get from the ship to the airport and through customs in order for us to make this flight?

Well we are sorry you are not going to spend some time with us in Vancouver...you are missing one of the most beautiful cities in the world. However that said, yes, you can just make it but to do so I would recommend one of two options:

If you can handle your own baggage then do an early walk off and catch a cab to the airport.

If not then do the US Direct Program which will involve using a ships transfer.

Thanks. We spent a day in Vancouver on our last trip and loved the city.

 

I have another question. If we decide not to chance it and to fly out the next day, do you have a reccomendation for a hotel that would be convenient to the airport. Nothing too expensive, but I do want a clean room with a comfortable bed.

Here are two that leap to mind, but I would hope that you would check you luggage at one of the downtown hotels or at the terminal with the luggage service there and then get out and enjoy the city.
