Question about Gym on Grand Princess

Hi All,

I am wondering if the gym on the Grand has strength training (Nautilus type) equipment, in addition to the usual treadmills and stationary bicycles?

If not, are there free weights? Thanks! JT

Haven't been on the Grand in two years, but the gym does have some Nautilus type machines, (?Cybex??). Limited, especially compared to the Emerald, etc, but decent. Leg press machine (which I didn't like), leg extension, pull down bar, biceps curl, overhead pulls, and an abs machine. Reasonable, but limited, mainly by space.

You'll want to be creative using the Swiss ball, rubber bands, and the "Bozo" ball (that's what I lovingly call it!). A couple of weight benches and free weights. No barbells or that funky curved barbell either. Might find a couple of medicine balls as well. Have a good work out...oh yeah, they have the plastic stackable steps, so you can get your quads up to snuff, along with eschewing the elevators, as we do. s
