Ruby Princess - beach question

We will be on the Ruby Princess in March. On another cruise, we spent the day in Paradise Beach in Cozumel on our own. Can anyone suggest another beach that is nicer or is Paradise Beach as nice as it gets in Cozumel. I don't want to do an excursion.
