I am looking for any feedback anyone may have on the RCCL players club in the casino. What do you like, what do you not like? How has your experience been the with player club rep? What kinds of perks do you get? Do you sail because of them or not? Any and all info would be great!

I have been in the Players Club for a few months over 2 cruises. I will tell you what I know and answer any other questions that I can. The good - As part of the club I do not have to pay the 3% surcharge whenever requesting chips on my Sea Pass card. Whenever I was in the casino, all my drinks were taken cared off, granted I am not a big drinker, just a couple drinks per night. A T-shirt was given to me at the end of the cruise. And a few days after the cruise - I was given the amount of rebate in cash I would be entitled to on my next cruise.

The not so good - I didn't feel that they paid much attention to me during the cruise, and no other perks were offered, not that I can say what they should have done. The rebate for my next cruise seems low compared to my level and length of play, but there is no way to really question this. In addition, if you are looking to cruise only because of the perks, you'll end up disappointed.

If you play blackjack, be prepared for some of the worst play you will ever see. Avoid the the $5 tables and observe the $10 or $25(if there is one) before you sit down. You will see players splitting Kings and standing on 14 against a ten all night.

Try to find a good group of players and try to arrange your own table.

I only care if I win. What difference does it make if others don't play correctly? None, unless you get so upset by their misdeeds that it effects your play.

I pretty much agree. It's comical to watch bad play but I fail to see how it honestly affects other players at the same table. Obviously if a player takes your face card on a double down when they shouldn't have, it will affect you. Over the long run, I would think bad play would help you as well as hurt you.

On my last cruise an Italian guy and his two sons sat down at my table betting table max ($200) and doubling down and splitting every time, even against a face card. They asked one patron if he had ever been knocked out after a questionable non-hit. I took a hit when I had 12 and dealer was showing a 2 and it didn't work out for me. One of the sons glared at me and said he hates people from Atlanta. Suffice to say the table was more enjoyable once they took a beating and left. We went back to winning money as well.
