TheVegasMan Posted February 27, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2009 All of my fins have been a combination of rubber and plastic and they are fine. I'm sure the foot is some type of rubber, plastic would not be flexible enough to be comfortable and a rubber fin would be too flexible to give any propulsion. BIG_Steve Posted February 28, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 28, 2009 so i dont know the name....it just sayed 2 fins I was asking because if we knew the name, you could look up specifics and reviews. If the fins are from US Divers, it should say right on top what model/type they call them. At this point, it probably doesn't matter.

I use some US Divers Shredder II fins that I think are great for snorkeling - although my usual preference is to bring along only by mask and snorkel and either rent fins at the beach or use fins provided on an excursion. Anyways, the US diver fins are sold under several different model names by them, and I've seen them included in some of their sets.
