i got this 40 dollar set at costco and the stuff looks pretty good(its from u.s.divers)....the mask fits....the snorkel has a float to not let water in but the finns are plastic...i have never use plastic fins befor,only rubber.....will this affect my snorkeling expiriance??

so i dont know the name....it just sayed 2 fins

 

I was asking because if we knew the name, you could look up specifics and reviews.

 

If the fins are from US Divers, it should say right on top what model/type they call them. At this point, it probably doesn't matter.

I use some US Divers Shredder II fins that I think are great for snorkeling - although my usual preference is to bring along only by mask and snorkel and either rent fins at the beach or use fins provided on an excursion. Anyways, the US diver fins are sold under several different model names by them, and I've seen them included in some of their sets.
