Maybe we'll find something for my DD to travel in. Junior type clothes & sizes aren't common on travel clothing sites, I don't think. Looking for fashionable, "classic", and COOL - in the Med in July! (Of course we live in the SoCal desert, so shouldn't be too diff, xcpt for humidity...) hmm What do teens wear in the Med? I'll have to do a search...

A pug is a pug & beagle mix. They're very cute!

 

I tried these capris on in the store the other day and they are paper thin! They would probably nice & cool for a hot day. It looks like a lot of the sizes are gone online, but there was a bunch in the stores and there were also black ones & grey ones available in the store.

I would imagine tank tops, capris, maybe casual skirts would be appropriate for your teen.

I think I'm going to shop this weekend with it. I was planning on ordering some things online but I noticed more in the store than online.

Nice pants! Since we're doing the Med. cities, we can't use the casual bright colors/style of the Caribbean.

Found 2 pants at Old Navy that DD (13) liked.

Then went to NY& Company. Though the clothes aren't necess. for very hot weather, at least she likes them! I suggested tanks with blouses over for layering - but she doesn't do layering- or capris - or skirts. They had a good sale, so we did well w/ 30% off, 50% off, & BOGO1/2 off. More color choices in store than online. Just glad we found something! You have kids?:cool:

Penelope, I like the items you picked out. I actually went to Old Navy tonight & came out with a black beach coverup type skirt, yoga capris, a bathing suit top and something I swore I'd never wear.... the dreaded $5 Old Navy St Pattys day tshirt. I'm so Italian (100%) that wearing this green tshirt almost seems wrong. And to answer your question, I do not have kids. I like to still think of myself as a "kid" as I'm 23 years old- although turning 24 in May. My brother is your daughters age and oh boy are 13 year old interesting. lol. Hope u have a wonderful trip.

Thank you! Just took my son who is home on spring break. he walked out with a bag of clothes for $84...and maybe a pair of jeans and some flipflops for me:)

Penelope, what a cool mom you must be. Taking your daughter on a Med cruise AND a shopping spree for cruise clothes! Just an FYI, if you have a tripleA card, you can get a 15% discount at Ny&Co all the time, although it cannot be combined with coupons.

 

As far as traveling "everywhere", I don't usually care where the cruise goes as long as it's warm. My mom & I went on CCL Victory this summer and we've done this cruise before so we didn't even get off the ship this time around.

 

I did see the St Pattys day dog shirts- they are cute but Duke would eat it to pieces. lol.
