We've just received a cheap upgrade from inside to Junior Suite on our forthcoming cruise on the Balmoral!

 

Does anyone have any photos of a Junior Suite? The photo on the Fred Olsen website is so distorted.

 

Also, do we get any additonal benefits with a Junior Suite?

It was either 8066 or 8067. It's one of the new rooms added when FO lengthend the ship.

Have you found out anymore about additional benefits of the junior suite? Just wondering if there are any complementaries in the room (as you were)

 

White Star - love your pictures, really clear. Is the tray in your picture a payable minibar or included freebies?

No. Found out nothing about Junior Suite perks. But very pleased to see the lovely photos posted by WhiteStar.

There is a mini bar built into the vanity but you pay for what you drink. Here's a video I posted on Youtube.

Thanks. Great videos. I have the second from last years trip away when I bought the DVD set, but hadn't seen the first.

 

Do you recall the offerings being normal duty free cabin list prices or typical silly mini bar prices?

Yes lucky you - we have just come of at Vancouver where we upgraded from Deck 5 inside to Deck 4 with Outside window ( the frame of the window ws very rusty) People we met had a Junor Suite and we visited them and the Suites are very comfortable.
