What am I doing wrong?!!

Just off the Enchantment out of Colon. We have just 1 Royal Caribbean cruise in the past. We booked a guaranteed ocean view for $449 and were upgraded from deck 2 to a balcony on deck 7.

I'm taking this trip on Saturday. Did they upgrade you at the port? Or did you have to call ahead for it? I'd like to upgrade if I can but my time is running out.

We were notified when we checked in at the port. Also had a $100 onboard credit that I didn't know about. Probably the best deal I'll ever get on a cruise.
