work2wander Posted March 22, 2009 Author #26 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Good point about the dealers. Never thought of that. Am doing my homework before I go. Thanks.
Sneezykevina Posted March 22, 2009 #27 Share Posted March 22, 2009 I bought a Citizen Eco Drive last May and love it. The prices were comparable as to the port but it has a 5 year warranty with it. It's a great watch and I love not needing to replace a battery. It's sharp looking but not over the top expensive looking and seeing as how I wear jeans & tshirts most of the time...... I saved about $200 over getting one at home.
cruisinmeme Posted March 22, 2009 #28 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Love my Citizen Eco-Drive, no batteries needed. Prices are very good on the ship. Remember to check the prices onboard before you get to the ports. my husband and i both got us a citizen eco-drive several cruises ago and love them. we did get a good deal, we priced the very same watches here in the states. (tax alone was a savings) we love to buy the fossil watches also. it is usually a 10% savings, then the tax savings (for us that is 9.5%) so that is a good deal. they will adjust the band length for you on the ship.
