Nassau on the cheap

We are wondering what we can do "on the cheap"

So no, we don't want to hear about day passes...

Where are some landmarks that you would choose to check out?

I know about the walking tour you can take...on frommers. Do people really go to all of these locations:

1. Rawson Square

2. Parliament Square

3. Nassau Public Library and Museum

4. Former site of the Royal Victoria Hotel

5. Nassau General Post Office

6. Queen's Staircase

7. Fort Fincastle

8. Prospect Ridge

9. Gregory Arch

10. St. Andrew's Kirk (Presbyterian)

11. Government House

12. Graycliff

13. St. Francis Roman Catholic Church

14. British Colonial Hilton

15. Vendue House

16. Christ Church Cathedral

17. Straw Market

18. Woodes Rogers Walk

19. Prince George Wharf

Also, what about a cheap beach just to lay out for a bit?

We were also thinking of stopping into Snr. Frogs and checking them out?

What else is there to do that is cheap..very very cheap?

Thanks so much.

Yes, People go to all these places.. they are close by and easy to do the whole tour in a couple of hours.

For a free beach,, you can walk to Lighthouse Beach, just west outside of town past the British Colonial.

Senor Frogs is Not Cheap by any means.. one of the most expensive watering holes in Nassau.. There's many places to get a drink in town.. you'll pass them everywhere.

I do not care for Nassau so I usually walk to the straw market, wander a bit and get right back on the ship for lunch and a wonderful day at a hopefully empty ship. Yea, I can get a lounge chair by the pool. No offense on Nassau, it is just not one of my favorite places.
