Getting To Laguardia Airport

Question? We will be arriving in New York on May 24th on the Caribbean Princess. What is the best way to get to Laguardia Airport from the port? Does anyone know if Princess has a shuttle to LGA or does anyone know what the cab charges are from the port to the airport? Would like to know the best and quickest way to get to the airport.

Thanks for the help. Happy Cruising:p

Yes Princess does run a shuttle to La Guardia from the dock. We took it last Oct. and it cost us $35/p.p. at that time. It was very convenient, quick and without hassle.

As for taxi fares, I'm not sure ... perhaps someone else will know.

Sign in to Cruise Peronalizer, then select "additional services". The transfer price, and any available options will appear.

The following links are for the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The second one includes taxi fares and a couple transportation options.

An option would be to take a car service,

it is one flat rate about $55 to/from LGA plus tip for up to 4 people.

We use Arecibeo-718-783-6465 or Cadman 866-308-5466.

call them when you are ready and they will pick you up within 15 minutes.

The information on this website is just wrong. Its 11 Miles from LGA to the Red Hook Cruise terminal.

Much of the other information is also wrong. a cab from LGA to this terminal is also wrong. Its should be in the $30. range. A cab from most places in Manhattan is also in the $30 range. A cab from JFK to this terminal will be more than $40.00 unless they take the city streets and if they do is only 14 miles.

The times and mileage are just ridiculous even during rush hour.

Its 20 minutes LGA to Red hook with no traffic even during the rush hour it never has take me more than a hour. if its 5 miles from downtown Manhattan how can it be $40? Its 2.00 per mile for a cab plus 2.50 for the first fifth of a mile. Plus $4.50 toll....can you explain how that is $40?

These people know nothing about NY and this terminal....ignore them....
