Board Shorts

Are board shorts made out of supplex particularly sheer? Just wondering how much of the swimsuit underneath shows through.

The board shorts we have are not sheer. Not certain if they are supplex, but they seem to be the standard board shorts material.

Just get dark coloured ones.

Mine are black. Nothing shows through. I wouldn't get a light color, because of that very concern. They might become see-thru when wet.

I've got a white pair and I've never noticed them getting see-through. But, if you have a bathing suit underneath, why does it matter?

These are board shorts. I like them because they keep the backs of my legs from getting sunburned while snorkeling. Others like them as a cover-up.

 

I like them better than regular shorts over bathing suits because they dry really fast. :)

I have black swimsuits but found a pair of white board shorts I liked because I could throw any color top or tee on with them. I've never had them before and am not familiar with the material. However, I do not want to be walking around in them and have same effect as black underwear under white shorts. I'm just going to look for a darker pair.

I didn't even think about the snorkeling, but that's a great idea. Thanks for your input.
