akeka Posted December 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2004 My family has two adjoining balcony cabins for our Grandeur cruise. Can the balcony barriers be opened so we can have one large balcony? TIA.
julieds Posted December 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2004 I don't think they're removable--we had a balcony cabin in the middle of a large wedding group--parents and other family members were in several cabins on either side of us--and they seemed to spend a lot of time leaning around the "walls" to talk to each other (and across our balcony!)... CecilCtyCruiser Posted December 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2004 We were on the Granduer last August. Beautiful ship...you will have a wonderful time! We had a balcony cabin on the 6th floor. During our trip, at one point the maintenance crew came out to do some cleaning. They were able to open the panels between us and the balcony next to us (if you look closely, you will see the hinges), but I'm not sure if this is something you can do, of if a special tool or key is needed. And the full panel did not open, only the outside half. Anyway...have a wonderful trip! Our trip on the Granduer is what made a "cruise addict" of my husband!
