Ephesus Tours

How easy is it to get to the ruins? Is it doable on our own? I want to see the library, Terrace Houses, Basilica, etc.

Please do a search of this board (or even just read the first couple of pages) and you'll find many recent discussions on touring Ephesus by private guide versus ship tours. Private tours in Turkey are still fairly reasonable (more so if you can find someone to share the tour from your roll call).

 

Getting to Ephesus via taxi is also possible, but for the minimal additional cost it is worth having a guide at the site, which is quite large.

 

Getting to Ephesus via bus is possible but not the easiest.
