MDnOH Posted December 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2004 I haven't seen a post asking for the best sunset location. So, where is it? The Splendour is in port the 16th until 11PM and I'd like to enjoy a Cozumel sunset. Where's the absolute best place and please no prejudice...Thanks

betsyrossapk Posted December 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 9, 2004 Probably right from the dock where your ship is. That's on the west side of the island. Be prepared that sunset is extremely early this time of the year, right now at 5:00PM. We were in our car rental at the time & were going to get out of the car as soon as we passed thru a traffic light. By the time the light changed, the sun dropped that quickly. ScubaMare Posted December 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 9, 2004 ....anywhere on the west side of the island. One of my favorite spots is near the divers statue right near the plaza. Hopefully, this file will attach so you can see one of my favorite sunset shots.

ScubaMare Posted December 11, 2004 #7 Share Posted December 11, 2004 It's an Olympus Digital camera. Have some great sunrise shots, too. In fact, here are a few of my all-time favorite Cozumel pictures to whet your appetite for this amazing island!
