Malcolm Burn - Is he better?

I read on here about 1-2 months ago that Malcolm Burn was in the hospital. I don't believe it said what the issue was, but it didn't sound very good at the time. Does anyone have any updates as to how he's doing?

 

We really enjoyed him on The Miracle back in March, so I'm hoping he's back to entertaining others on The Miracle or another ship.

A couple weeks ago we heard from Malcolm's mom on John Heald's blog.

She said that they were ready to pull out all the tubes and such and move him out of ICU, which was very good news.

I haven't heard anything since but I'll be happy to ask.

They had him on IVs and monitors and such.

I haven't asked what the problem was... I was just pleased to hear that he was improving...

Oh dear. I usually could care less about our CD's, but I really enjoyed Malcolm on my Victory cruise last summer. He has a natural warmth and sincerity and doesn't go way over the top like so many other CD's. I truly wish him the very best and hope he will soon be well.

Wow, that sounds like it was really serious. I sure hope he recovers quickly. Any additional information you can provide would really be appreciated.

I wish Malcolm the best too. He's been on a couple of my cruises and we really liked him. He always had time to talk to people and as someone else mentioned, he's got a natural warmth and sincerity.
