I stayed there a few years back when it was the Ramada. I can advise you about the area if you have questions, as I live in the neighborhood.

We stayed there Dec 06, it was under renovation but it was still very nice. We had great service and the rooms were fairly nice. There were tiny ants all over the floor but they didnt bite so they told us that we were safe. It was a comfortable place and we decided that we would stay there if we wanted to be beachside ever again.
