Hotels in FLL near port......

Hi!

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in Ft. Lauderdale where you can see the ships from your room? Prefer at least 3-star in a good area with things to do. Am I expecting too much?

there are a few.............you can browse this thread for more info....here are a couple for starters....

 

hyatt pier 66 (you can go outside if on a weekend and flag down the sun trolley)

 

hilton ft lauderdale grande....(water taxi stop at hotel)

 

renaissance (can see some ships from some rooms...lots to walk to)

 

embassy suites (again..can see some ships from some rooms..lots of stuff nearby)
