explorer-will we have any trouble getting a cab from newark to cape liberty?

we just booked explorer for oct 15 hope it isnt to cold then. will we have any trouble getting a cab from newark to cape liberty. our flight get in at 10.45. will we see sol on the ship. any info will be appreciated.

We went on Explorer last year in September/October. It was chilly at times, and some port days were beautiful. Take layers and dress accordingly.

 

Cabs are plentiful at the airport. Do not even worry about this.

 

You will see SOL but she will be small and off in the distance, not great for pictures (IMO). Actually, what I found more exhilarating was going under the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. We squeaked through with what looked like inches to spare! Be sure one of you is taping this on your camera or cell phone, and the other takes still pictures. It was fantastic!!
