TonyaJune Posted May 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2009 Does anyone know what the average age group is on the Carnival Triump 4-night Canada cruise. Are there younger families on this itinerary, or mostly older cruisers? We did a Canada cruise a few years ago on a different cruise line and most of the passengers were older. Hoping this time it will be more of a mixed age group.
AZ Karaoke Girl Posted May 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2009 Every cruise I've been on has been a mix of age from toddlers to 80's. Even the 3 day weekend cruise had all ages.
erinmarie424 Posted May 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2009 It probably depends on the time of year - if it's when school is in session there would probably be fewer kids than during summer or holiday break. When is your cruise?
TonyaJune Posted May 30, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted May 30, 2009 We are considering June 11th. Not sure when the schools get out in New York. Should be right around that time though.
amcjeep4life Posted May 30, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2009 School here in CT doesn't get out until June 23ish. I think NY is about on the same schedule. We had quite a few snow days this year. We were on the Triumph in November and the ages ranged from very old to young. We hardly saw any kids, but they said they were there. I think the Camp Carnival keeps them in line. I have read that the shorter cruises attract a younger crowd, but not sure if that applies to Canada cruises. Good Luck, and enjoy your cruise! jscarl01 Posted May 30, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 30, 2009 Don't know about Canadian cruises but I just got off the Triumph today. There were around 3000 passengers, 300+ of which were children. Other than that it ranged from young couples to much older folks. There was group celebrating their high school graduation but other than that I didn't notice the more college aged crowd that I'm used to with Carnival. anchorsaweigh Posted May 31, 2009 #7 Share Posted May 31, 2009 I'm in RI and our school's don't get out until 23rd (snow days). We're on the July 13th sailing. We did the 4 nt. Victory 4 years ago and there was a very nice mix 0 to 80 years of age. Many kids but not overrun.

crusinmama06 Posted May 31, 2009 #9 Share Posted May 31, 2009 Considering I will be on this cruise the week before the sailing you are considering, I have to say, yes, there are kids and young parents.:D Not all schools get out late June. Ours gets out in 3 days which is why we are getting on the June 7th sailing.
