Legend 5232 or 5245

Oh I'm so indecisive! We are booked on 5232 on Legend but are wondering if we should switch to 5245 since that cabin seems to be available now. Looks like the balcony is double the size but it is next to the part of the ship that comes out. Wondering how far that blocks your view? Any comments as to whether we should switch or not would be appreciated. thanks!

I would keep 5232.

We have been in a balcony cabin twice (Legend 5132 and Pride 7157) next to a section that extends out past our balcony and it does somewhat restrict your view in that direction. In looking at the deck plans, it appears that would be even more the situation with 5245.

Compare that to our view looking aft:

We were assigned 5132 and 7157 when we booked guarantees. We were fine with both locations, but I would not have chosen to be next to a section that extends out further if I was selecting a specific cabin.

 

BTW, 5245 is a modified cabin. I would NOT select a modified cabin if I (or the person I was cruising with) did not need it.

Thanks I see what you mean...The bigger balcony may not justify the limited view.
