Chankanaab kids' area

How is the kids' beach area in Chankanaab? I know the snorkeling area is rocky, and our kids are too small to snorkel. Would they enjoy the smaller kids' area or is that rocky too?

I found a pic of the beach, it's small but good for small children. No water shoes needed in this area. They also have a swimming pool.

Have fun! :)

Thank you Caribsun... the picture looks great and the coupon comes in very handy, espec. since we are 4 adults and 2 kids...

What I gathered from other posts though is that I need water shoes for us adults for snorkeling... but we have some so that's ok and at least I don't need to buy any for the kids. Thanks for the info. Can't wait. In two days we will be on our way to Tampa.... :-)))
