Cheap Hotel in Orlando!

We will be doing a B2B on the Dream, spending a few days in Cape Canaveral pre-cruise and flying out the day after our cruise. I need to find a cheap (but nice) hotel to spend the night in Orlando to catch our 8am flight home. We will be spending the day at NASA and night at Downtown Disney....so basically just need a place to sleep with no frills. Thanks

I got a room at the 3* Sheraton Safari Hotel in Lake Buena Vista for $70 a night in July as a AAA member through the hotel website (not prepaid, least expensive room). It's just blocks from Downtown Disney, and is a pretty basic hotel. Travelzoo sometimes has good deal in Orlando too.

I bid for a friend and received the Omni Championsgate for $75 precruise. For myself since we are arriving in Orlando close to midnight we received the Marriott Airport Hotel for $56. Both hotel I bidded through Priceline. Not sure if this is a option for you.

I always stay at LaQuinta and I am very thrifty!

We stayed at a LaQuinta that had a shuttle to the airport and was fine for one night. I think there is a LaQuinta East and West for Orlando. Less than 10 minutes to the airport and had a great restaurant right in the parking lot. It was a few years ago but bet it's still there.
