Re Wine purchesed on boarding day?

On my last cruise with Hal a while ago now. The Wine steward was available on the first day to take orders for your dinner wine. If you purchased your bottles of wine upon boarding there was significant saving over the price to purchase them individually in the dining room. Is this still done? :confused:

I remember when they would give you 10% off on the first day when you purchased wine/champagne. But that hasn't been around for a long time.

They are now pushing the Navigator's and Admiral's Choice packages.

When you go up the elevators to the Lido deck they are generally set up there..

Thanks K yes I agree that cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement, hope my new dw agrees this will be her 1st cruise in October, 1st. of a lot more I hope:D
