Ports versus Asea

Oh man, didn't listen to my own advice...just took a cruise that spent almost 24 hours in Nassau....everything on the ship closed and Nassau is not my cup of tea. Bored to tears. I STILL love the asea days. IF....I'm going to be in a Port I want it spectacular...give me Honduras Scuba diving, Grand Cayman sting ray, Cozumel private Dolphin swim, but DO NOT GIVE me Nassau port straw market.

I love to feel the surge of the seas under my feet, to be lulled to sleep by the gentle motion, to see nothing but sea, and have the ship alive with action, bars, karoke, casinos, shops.

Ports, ports, ports!!

We love going on excursions and shopping in different places.

We generally don't gamble and only drink in moderation (me; DH can't drink for medical reasons). On the other hand, we loved zip lining, swimming with dolphins in the Caribbean, seeing the sights on tours in Alaska etc.
