PassionFruit Posted July 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2009 I am going on the NCL Star to the MR this fall with my almost 3 yo & 13 mo (ages when we cruise). DH is doing some excursions with my mom & grandparents in the different ports, so I am looking for something for myself and the kids to do while in Mazatlan & Puerto Vallarta. (I think we are going to do a family day while in Cabo.) Are there any really easy kid things to do in these ports? Maybe a neat park area or zoo? I'm probably looking to be gone not more than a couple of hours or so as I don't want to push the kids (or myself!) too much. And, just for the record, DH is not deserting us. I'm sending him with the other group so he can help with my grandfather who has some mobility issues. We are not going with them, though, because it's sight-seeing and some other activities that my kids would not enjoy/could not participate in. I'll probably post this on the MR boards as well, but wanted to check on the Family Board first since I thought I might get more kid-friendly info here. TIA! cb at sea Posted July 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 11, 2009 Get a guidebook on those ports....there's so much info in them...things to do, points of interest, how to get there, cost, food, etc.... A little research goes a long way, and can save you $$$$!
