Canada1lb Posted July 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2009 I am travelling with a group of 25 people. We are considering going to one of the RIU resorts in Los Cabos for the day - and wondering if there is a contact of a company we can pre arrange for the transport? Or, would it be better to just take a cab once we get off the ship? I usually like it prearranged, then we will hopefully have a bus that can accomodate everyone, and also do a little bit of a tour to our destination. Any help appreciated! househunter Posted July 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2009 The Riu properties charge $100/pp for a day pass and that is only if they are not very full. For that you could purchase alot of margaritas and fresh seafood made to order for you at any of the number of beach bar/restaurants that are along Medano beach. All of them let you use their chairs and umbrellas for free as long as you are buying food and drinks. You can try www.cabosanlucastours.net if you really end up going to The Riu. Or you could just take a cab- it should be around $10 for a taxi van that hold 8 people. You could grab 3 taxis right at the tender dock- they will be lined up and waiting for you. They may charge a bit more for over 4 people per van- their normal rates are for up to 4. Have fun!
TCF Posted July 23, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2009 Try giving Johann&Sandra a call about transportation. We have found them to be great at making various arrangements for us when we go to Cabo and other places in MR.
