Dawn AE balcony

We are booked on the Dawn in an AE on deck 8 in Feb 2010 to S. Caribbean. Can anyone tell me if the balcony is covered at all? I am assuming that the balcony on deck 9 will be over ours, but is it completely covered or is it partially open? thanks to anyone who can help.:)

The stern balconies on the Dawn are completely covered, you will love it.

Don't you just love surprising people. I'm doing the same for my hubby this coming Oct. on the Dawn. I also booked an AE but we will be on deck 9. Can't wait to see the look on his face. I'm sure it will be a moment that will last my lifetime :D We too are celebrating our 25th. Hehe ;)
