Where is there an Internet Cafe on Cozumel

It depends on which pier you are coming into. Puerta Maya has an internet cafe. It is quite expensive. Something like $10 US for an hour. Whereas if you hop a taxi into town for lunch and shopping there are internet cafes all over the place with prices ranging from $2-$5 .

$10.00 an hour is a steal compared to the ship prices. I would probably spend more than that between the taxi ride and the internet.

Where exactly at Puerta Maya?

Is the little Mexican Disneyland-looking place that Carnival cruises has built. It's quite pretty. But it shore isn't the real Cozumel! If you're on a Carnival ship this is almost surely where you'll come in. About 1.5 miles from downtown. Other two piers are the International Pier -- about 200 yards north of Puerta Maya--and the Punta Langosta Pier which is downtown. You might also see Fondeo on your schedule and, if so, that means you won't be docking at all but will sit out in the water and be ferried ashore.

There is a nice internet cafe across the street from the Puerto Maya Pier, on the second floor above a Phillipine Restaurant. As of Dec 31, 2004 the prices were $2 for 30 minutes or $3 for 1 hour, US Cash only. There were about 30 computers. Speed was fast at least 500K. Staff friendly and spoke english well. To find this place goto the taxi stand and then look across the street and you can't miss it.

Just to help clarify a couple things...Princess' ships usually dock at Puerta Maya pier but during high season it's anyones guess which it will be. All the cruise lines use all the piers. Like last week when the Coral was at one pier and the Star was at another on the same day. If you do dock at Puerta Maya, the cheapest location is across the street like KenP said. (Also great Chinese food in the restaraunt downstairs!) If you happen to dock at TMM or International Pier, it is right next door to Puerta Maya. There is a cheap internet place across the street from there. (Excellent fried shrimp sandwiches in the blue pickup truck in front of it!) If you want to go to downtown, it is 3 miles away and the taxi will cost you about $6 per cab not per person. If you dock at Punta Langosta, just walk down the street to the left and you will find a slew of places. Usual prices run about $1-3 per hour in town.
