We are going on this weekend to a "weired" B2B...

 

4 nights on Fred Olsen's BOUDICCA

followed by 2 nights on Cunard's QUEEN MARY 2

 

1973 (36 years as ROYAL VIKING SKY - SUNWARD - BIRKA QUEEN - GOLDEN PRINCESS - SUPERSTAR CAPRICORN - HYUNDAI KUEMGANG - GRAND LATINO)

versus

2003 (6 years)

 

28,078 tons

versus

148,258 tons

 

1,022 passengers

versus

3,090 passengers

 

A family run business

versus

a giant cruise group

 

That's a HARDCORE programme with a lot of new and contrary impressions.

 

I would like to blog again.

 

But I am not sure how the connectivity will be on BOUDICCA for my netbook. There is an Internet Center onboard available but I am not sure if I can dock my USB-stick into their computers to transfer the pictures.

 

Anyhow I would like to invite you to join me on BOUDICCA and QUEEN MARY 2.

 

Have fun - so I do hope to have it on both ships.

I am sorry to be extremely late:

 

but I have good excuses:

 

1. the connectivity on BOUDICCA was more than lousy. They upgrade the internet-center...

 

and the better:

 

2. we had a great time on BOUDICCA so no time to write - same on QUEEN MARY 2.

 

But both ships: QUEEN MARY 2 and BOUDICCA had the same problems.

 

So here you find the first day on BOUDICCA. The QUEEN MARY 2-fans need to wait few days more.
