Maybe a quarter mile, 1/2 mile tops. Paved/sidewalks. You can see from a distance or get closer by taking some of the gravel/dirt trails. There are also several viewing points. I don't think it would be a problem-go as far as you are able and it will still will be spectacular.

The thing about the waterfall walk is they've shut down the gravel portion of the "unofficial trail". We were there early July. Maybe they were working on that.

 

We had to traverse water at several points, a small pond, and several smallish streams. There were places to go around the bigger ones.

 

There is no elevation. Totally flat walk. However, if you needed more than a cane walking assitance, it would be impossible. Several places were really sandy.

 

I think it must have been easier when the gravel path was open. But really the way that's left is really more fun.
