Sky 8202

I just upgraded from a BA to AC 8202 and was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the suite. I've searched on here as well as Webshots and Google and can find nothing!:o

I'm also curious about the room itself. I read on another website that the room is only 261 sq feet but the NCL site puts the ACs at about 500 sq ft. Anyone know the answer to that one?;)

Can't wait to enjoy the time away from this Michigan "summer"! I don't think we've had a day over 82 yet!

We were in an AC #9202 last week and disembarked on 8/3/09. Prior to that, we were in the AA Owne's suite #8001. There is a good pic of the AC suite on the NCL website. Go to the secion for each ship, click on Sky, and click on the 360 cam for the suites and it shows you an accurate pic of an AC suite. The AC suite is much smaller and different than the AB (Penthouse, which we have been in with friends) and the AA. But, most important is that the AC gives you suite amenities. You havs the concierge make all reservations for specialty restaurants, get you priorty disembarkation at ports (don't wait in line to get off the ship or board a tender) and meet you at theatres to escort you to a reserved area for shows. You donot need to get to the shows early to get a seat. Let him know what you want and he will tell you where to meet him. Also, be sure to take advantage of the suite only lunch and breakfast at Cagneys. You have very, very good, gourmet quality food in an elegant setting and do not have to wait in line! We eat every breakfast and lunch in our room or at Cgneys. We pay the surcharge for dinner in specialty restauramts and have never eaten in the main dining areas. The butler will bring you embarkation champagnd and canapes each evening. he will get your ice and take care of requests in the room...such as DVDs. The AC suite has a great balcony for a bottom level suite. It has 2 chaise lounges and a table with 3 chairs. We do have picswe took of our AC suite, which was 9202...a decke yours. Don't know if it is identical. Let me know if you want our pics or have any questions.

Thanks for the info! I have been on the NCL site and looked at the 360 - I'm noticing what looks like a tiny bedroom in the background--am I seeing things or is it wishful thinking? The NCL floorplan doesn't indicate any other room.

Also, I'm reading conflincting information regarding the sq footage. The NCL site puts it at 561 sq feet and cruisestateroom says it's 218. That is a HUGE difference. I can't help but wonder if cruisestateroom in wrong. I'm hoping that NCL wouldn't make that big of a mistake in measuring their rooms.

Thanks for the offer of pix! Do you have them posted anywhere? If not, you can either post a couple here for everyone to enjoy (because you know someone else will also have questions) or you can email them to me at: peltonrenee@comcast.net

Thanks for you assistance!;)

Here are 5 pics that show everything except the bathroom. The bathroom is identical to the AA suite with a whirlpool tub and separate shower. There is a small separate bedroom with a sliding door that is not depicted in the pics, but if you look at the NCL deckplan you will see a small bump out depicting the room for the 9th deck AC suites. I don't see it depicted on the 8th deck AC suites and don't know if it is there or not. The small bedroom has a small bed and a fold down above it. You can see the fold out on the wall and a part of the small porthole in the second bedroom. The second bedroom has a small TV, is great for kids but would not be comfortable for adults. There is a decent closet in the second bedroom. I am going to say that the sf for the AC suite is definitely larger than 218 and it may reach 561 with the balcony. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Thanks for the pictures! It almost reminds me of the AD suite I was in on the Sun (expect for the second bedroom). Heck, I think I'd sleep on a chaise on the deck just to get out of gloomy Michigan!

I've gotten good information from sweetpea143 but I'm really interested in finding out if this suite has a second, smaller bedroom. If you look on the NCL website, you can definately see a bump-out for 9202 (thanks for pointing that out, Sweetpea143!) but not for 8202. Why would two suites of the same category and price be different?

Thanks for you input!:D
