Cashing in MBNA Points

I called MBNA today to cash in 15,000 of my points. I wanted two $50 on board credits (10,000) and one set of robes delivered on board (5,000) for my 8/7/04 sailing on the Navigator. After several voice prompts I finally just dialed "0" and waited for an operator. I told her what I wanted and waited again. She came back and said they would mail me three $5000 coupons and there will be further instructions on the back of them and it takes 6-8 for the coupons. That gets into about 3-4 weeks before sailing cutting it a little short. Does anyone have any experience with this that can offer some insight how it works?

I received my 5000 point certificate in about 2 weeks. You have to fill out the back of the certificate, check off the reward option you want, and mail it to Royal Carribean International, or have your TA mail it. Make sure you make a copy prior to sending it just in case it disappears in the mail.

Same deal here, cashed in 10,000 points with 2 separate calls and mailings, both took about 2 weeks, but they told me 6-8. Just make sure as soon as you get them you fill out the back and mail to RCI as they need them 10 days precruise I think. Keep copies just in case.
