YVR in late April, 2010

I am on a cruise that ends in Vancouver on April 27, 2010. Since this is a few weeks before the AK season begins, I assume that the security lines at YVR airport will be alot shorter and I can catch an earlier flight. I was thinking of one than leaves at Noon. Is this doable? I was thinking of taking the new Skytrain to the airport.

Probably wont be an issue at all. By April all of the Olympic stuff will have wound down, and tourist season not really kicked in.
