I was browsing the web today and came across a private tour operator which offers a Cozumel Jeep Adventure Excursion that sounds incredible: http://cozumelcruiseexcursions.com/JeepAdventureExcursion.htm

 

The morning tour includes snorkelling at Chankanaab Shallow Reef followed by a tour of the "pueblito" of El Cedral, one of Cozumel's oldest an most unique communities and a tour of the eastern shore which includes a few bar stops. The last part of the Jeep a.m. tour is a stop at the San Gervacio Ruins.

 

The afternoon tour meanwhile begins at the tequila farm followed by a tour of the eastern shore of the island stopping at some local watering holes, concluding with clear kayaking off the beach on the famous Chankanaab Shallow Reef.
