Norwegian Sun Clocks

It is my understanding that it is up to the staff (Captain and/or Cruise Director) that makes the decision regarding time.

We have been on cruises within the last two years that have stayed on ship time, changed to port time every time (4 changes in a 7 day cruise  ) and on a recent RCCL LOS out of San Diego we had a time change that put us on port time for the first two stops, then were told to stay on ship time for the third port, followed by the time change back to PST on the way back.

Sally - if your passengers are coming in soon it will probably be the same as mbisson's experience.

It looks like it may vary from cruise line to cruise line. Every NCL ship I've been on has used port time. Questions of this nature have been asked on several of the forums here. Some don't change their clocks. And this is a good thing to know.

As mbisson pointed out, the Sun absolutely, positively stays on port time. :D On the Sun reminders about this will be announced over the PA and you will also see them printed in your Freestyle Daily.
