Hi,We are booked on the Balmoral Baltic capitals - 14th Sept and will be traveling down from London by train. Has anyone had this experience? How far is it to the docks? What else can we expect.?:)

Dover Priory station is a fair distance from the Western Docks cruise terminal. There are shuttle buses laid on by Fred. Olsen (check with them what time this service starts) and taxis are available outside the station. There is sometimes a little congestion if there are two ships at the terminal but this is rarely serious.

Hi,

We travelled back from Dover by train last week the taxi cost £8.00 (fixed fare) from the Cruise Terminal to Dover Priory Stn.

The only downside to the journey by train is there is not a lot of place for your luggage.

Have a great cruise.

Jason
